For research, it can be imperative to isolate a single cell type of interest from a heterogeneous sample. This can be important in understanding the cells’ functionality, studying its mechanisms of action, or selectively growing a larger number of that cell type.

BioLegend provides the MojoSort™ magnetic bead-based system for the purification and isolation of cell populations. MojoSort cell separation kits are quality tested and designed for quick and easy use with the MojoSort magnet. The kits are also compatible with cell separation columns and other magnetic separators.

MojoSort reagents

MojoSort Nanobeads are magnetic particles directly conjugated to antibodies (positive selection) or Streptavidin. MojoSort isolation kits typically contain a biotin-antibody cocktail and Streptavidin Nanobeads, allowing it to isolate an untouched cell population through negative selection. These reagents are recommended to be paired with the MojoSort magnet and buffer system for optimal performance.
